The Centennial Committee,met Oct. 25 in
London„courtesyy� of Labatts.
The. Seaforth Chorus will be performing on
Staidly, July 1. A caterer to pun the arena
booth for the weekend has been secured.
The signs are ready to go on the lamp
standards on Main Street.
Nov. 1 is the deadline for nominations for
Ambassadors and tickets .are on sale for the
dance Nov. 26 at the arena. Winners of the
Ambassadors' contest will be announced sat
this time.
Murray Baker is in charge of sports for
Centennial weekend and welcomes your
ideas and support.
Joe Gengough and Ms committee will be
entering the old fire truck in the London Santa
Claus Parade Nov. 5.
Bill Gilson outlined the parade route.
Several' bands have been booked for the
event.
Hensel' 4-11 met Oct. 18 and gave
themselves a manicure.
Leactersjalked about how to care for your
tin6ernails and cuticles, Later Mrs. I. Mowat
showed how to manicure . nails.
Alt 'the girls used emery boards, orange
sticks, raid polish remover and a clear or pink
nail polish. When everyone Os finished Pat
Masse presented Mrs. Mowat with a gift.

Kippen Kuties end 4-H. club with a party

The Kippen Kuties held theirlast meeting
Oct. 25 at Iiog arth's house. As this was to
take the form of a Hallowe'en party all came
in disguise. Punks, Raggedy Anns, witches,
apes, clowns, an old farmer, and Huckleberry
Finn were in attendance. a role play
entitled "A Friend in Need is a Friend
Indeed" was done by Diane Vanneste, Lisa
Hoornaert and Janet Hoggarth.
All presedted a brief outline of special
projects to leaders. Achievement Day plans
were discussed and it was decided to present
the exhibit on "Basic Nail Care", with Linda
and Lois Binnendyk as commentators, Janet
Hoggarth, Diane Vanneste, and Tara Savage
to work on the exhibit board, and the rest to
bring articles to put on the table.
The dining room was decorated for'
Hallowe'en and with candles lit and lights
out, members enjoyed lunch.
Dianne VAnneste, a clown, won the prize
for the best costume.. Cathy Nesbitt won a
°prize for the most letters in her given names,
and Jane Papple for the closest birthday. The
leaders thanked members for making this
club a pleasant one to lead, and Dianne-
Vanneste thanked the leaders for all the work
and effort.
Achievement DAy is on Nov. 17 at 7 p.m.

The service at St. Andrew's Church,
Kippen was held at 10 a.m. on Sunday,. Oct.
30. Paster Don Moffat's sermon was entitled
"Satan the Evil Angel". Mrs. Gerald Moffatt
presided

St. Andrew's Church, Kippen will observe
their 116th anniversary Nov. 6 at 11 a.m. with
Reverend Roy Babstock of Parkview United
Church, Stratford as guest minister. Special
music will be provided by "The Craig Allen
Singers of Goderich". -
Carol McGregor, daughter of John and
Mary McGregor, held an open house in her
home Oct. 29, where she presented a showing
of crafts, decorations and floral arrange-
ments for Fall and Christmas available from
"Carol's Flowers and Gifts".
