MRS. L. STONEHOUSE
887-9847
The 63rd annual Belgrave
School Fair is scheduled for
Sept. 14. There are not too
many changes planned this
year from previous years
according to Joyce Vincent,
fair secretary.
The Belgrave fair is the
only school fair of its kind left
in the province. That means
the only exhibitors are child-
renofrom the Belgrave. Blyth
and Brussels public schools.
As in other years, there will
be school work, baking, sew-
ing. pets. field crops, poultry,
livestock. fruits, vegetables
and flowers.
One of the fairs most long
standing traditions is the
parade of school children and
their teachers lead by the
Brussels Legion Pipe Band.
Games and races will be
held throughout the day for
the children.
A lunch booth will be set up
on the premises to supply
fairgoers with beef on a bun
and homemade pie.
