J. Morley Cooper, a well-
known Kippen resident, who
operated a grocery store in
Seaforth at one time, died at
his home at R.R. #3, Kippen
cm Tuesday, June 28, 1983.
He was in his 80th year.
Surviving are his wife, the
former Florence Mabel Rob-
ertson; two sons. Jack of
Hensall and Lloyd of R.R. N3,
Kippen; two brothers, Dunc-
an and John A., b.',
Kippen; four sisters. ►,ive
Mrs. Grant Love, *afro.
Michigan and Grace Mc
Bride, Beatrice, Mrs. Bob
Dalrymple, and Doreen
Baird, all of Brucefield.
Two grandsons, Jim and
Scott Cooper, of R.R. N3,
Kippen al' i survive. The late
Mr. Cooper was predeceased
by one brother, Lloyd in
1928.
The funeral service was
conducted by Don Moffat of
Kippen United Church at 2
p.m. Friday, July 1, in the
Hensall Chapel of the Mich-
ael P. O'Connor Funeral
Homes. Interment followed
in Hensall Union Cemetery.
Donations to Kippen United
Church were appreciated as
memorials.
Pallbearers were: Laird
Finlayson, Harold Caldwell,
Edison McLean, John Sin-
clair and Jim McGregor.
Honorary pallbearers were
Ernie Whitehouse and Bob
0aie.
owerbearers were: Jim
and Scott Cooper, both
grandsons.
GEORGE L. REGELE
George Leslie Regele,
R.R. NS Mitchell, passed
away suddenly at his resi-
dence on Tuesday June 28,
1983 in his 74th year. He was
born in McKillop Township
on December 19, 1909; a son
of the late Charles Regele
and the former Caroline
Eggert. He was predeceased
by his wife, the former
Evelyn Higenell, in 1947.
Surviving are two sons
Ross of West Hill and James
of Listowel; two brothers
Clarence of R.R. #5, Seaforth
and Harry of R.R. #1, Dublin,
and three sisters, Annie
Hoegy of Seaforth, Adeline
Stoskopf of Pullarton Town-
ship and Elmina Fischer, a
resident of the Mitchell
Nursing Home, Mitchell and
one grandson Barry Regele.
Besides his wife, he was
predeceased by one son
Ronald in infancy, two sisters
and one brother.
A family memorial service
was held at the Lockhart
Funeral Home in Mitchell on
Thursday June 30 with Rev.
E. Radke officiating. Crema-
tion followed.
VIOLET BOYD
V'ole(Mary Boyd, 55, of
'. N4 Walton, died Sunday
July 3, 1983, at the Stratford
General Hospital.
Born in Palmerston, she
was a daughter of the late
Mr. and Mrs. Francis McLar-
non.
Surviving are her hus-
band, Gerald Boyd; seven
sons, James, of Medicine
Hat, Alta., Rick. of Dublin,
Garry, of Stratford, Tom,
Steven and Bradley, all of
Mitchell and Joey, at home;
one daughter, Susan, Mrs.
James Maloney, of Mitchell;
one sister, Peg, Mrs. Carl
Carnahan, of Listowel; also
10 grandchildren. She was
predeceased by one brother,
John.
There will be no funeral
home visitation. A family
funeral service will be held
Wednesday. Burial in Elma
Centre cemetery, Atwood.
Lockhart funeral home,
109 Montreal St., Mitchell,
assisted with funeral ar-
rangements.
R. GERALD ELLIOTT
R. Gerald Elliott, 73, form-
erly of St. Marys and Blue -
vale died Thursday, June 30,
1983 at Seaforth Community
Hospital.
He was the step -son of
Alma Elliott, of St. Marys,
and son of the late Russell
Elliott.
Surviving are one brother,
Grant, of Seaforth; two sis-
tersJune Elliott, of Seaforth,
and Gladys, Mrs. Jim Smith,
of R.R. 114 St. Marys. He was
predeceased by one sister,
Viola, Mrs. Ed Dinsmore.
A funeral service was held
Saturday. Burial in St. Marys
cemetery. Lindsay funeral
home, 47 Wellington St., St.
Marys assisted with funeral
arrangements.

Tuesday June 28. 1983 at St
Joseph's Hospital. Sr.,,,ia.
Born in Dublin. .he was the
son of the late James Jordan
and Mary Kenny.
Surviving are his wife
Ethel, three sons, Terry of
Halifax, N.S.,Ken of Corun-
na,Don of Vancouver, B.C.

Mrs. Marcel Paiement, of
Camlachie. One brother Jer-
ome of Lathrup Village, Mi-
chigan and five sisters
Sister Jerome, Sister Evelyn,
and Sister Agatha all of the
Ursuline Community Chat-
ham, Betty Byrne, Allen
Park, Michigan, Peggy Cran-
dall, Wyandotte Michigan
also survive, as do several
grandchildren, nieces, ne-
phews and cousins. He was
predeceased by brothers Ly-
all, Theo and Joseph.
The funeral was at St.
Benedict's Roman Catholic
Church, Sarnia on Thursday
at 10:30 with internment in
Sarnia.
Those attending the funer-
al from this area were Mrs.
Mary Moylan. St. Columban.

and Michael, Dublin, Mrs.
Mary Kunz, Mr. Jack Dorsey
and Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert
Maloney all of Seaforth.

sident, George Archie Mc-
Nair died at the Joseph Brant
Hospital. Hamilton, on
Thursday, June 23
Retired from Dofasco. he
was a meiuuer of Hillcrest
Lodge 594 AF & FM. He was
predeceased by his wife,
Ruth Colwell.
Surviving is one son. Don,
and one daughter, Mrs.
Bruce (Marilyn) Burge, both
of Hamilton. Four grand-
chiidreu, John and Pamela
Burge and Andrew and Laur-
ie McNair. One sister, Mrs.
Clarence Price, Hamilton.
Funeral service was held
from the Marlatt Funeral
Home, Hamilton on Mondy,
June 27. A memorial service
was held by Hillcrest Lodge,
Sunday.
Internment in White Chap-
el Memorial Gardens.
William McNair, London
and William Perrie, Brus-
sels, cousins of Mr. McNair
attended the service.
