The play was based on a book written by Judy Blume called "Tales of the Fourth Grade Nothing'. The two main characters were Peter, a grade 4 student who loved his pet turtle, and Fudgee, Peter's 4 -year-old housewrecking brother. The play started out with Peter and his best friend in the park. As the play pro- gressed Fudgee got into more and more trouble, like bang- ing pots and pans or scribb- ling all over Peter's "Trans- portation" project for school. However, Fudgee seemed to get away with everything he did. Peter kept telling his friend and himself, "I hate Fudgee, 1 really do." All Fudgee wanted was attention, and he certainly got it. One day Fudgee wanted his every day dose of atten- tion so he decided to eat Peter's pride and joy - his turtle. Peter wasn't happy about this, and got mad. He, then told his mother what had happened. When she asked Fudgee were it had gone, he pointed to his stomach and said "Eat it or wear it, Dribble was good." After the turtle had settled into his stomach he started to moan and groan. Fudgee was taken to the hospital for a few days. After Fudgee arrived home Peter went off alone and whispered to himself softly "1 really don't hate Fudgee, 1 actually missed him.'"This is were the play ended. period.
