Former Sunday School members partici- pated in the worship service and Rev. Ken. Knight chose for his sermon, Sowing Seeds. The present Sunday School members contributed by . singing three numbers accompanied by Mrs. John Scott at the organ. • Mrs. Jean Carey read an address of thanks to Mrs. Scott and Muriel was presented with a plaque and photo album of former and present Sunday School mem- bers. Mrs. Scott voiced her appreciation and a social hour followed the service of worship. Honeymoon skit highlights shower for Mary Jane Templeman Correspondent MRS. JOHN TEMPLEMAN 345-2346 A large crowd of friends and neighbours attended a community shower for Mary Jane Templeman, May 14 in Cromarty Church. Mrs. John Miller, chaired the evening, ppening with a honeymoon skit with Karen Dolmage. Pam Wallace, Cathy Elliott, Pat Wallace and Ina Finlayson, portraying the characters in the skit. Everyone enjoyed a step dancing number by Erin Richardson and Christena Miller. both pupils of Shirley Miller. An address of good wishes was read and Mary Jane was the recipient of many gifts. She was assisted by• her sisters Ruth and Nancy and Mike's sister Mary Parsons. Mary Jane thanked everyone, inviting all to their open house on Wednesday, May 25. PERSONALS . Mrs. Orpha Norris, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Norris, Jilt and Robert, Miss Ethel and Roy Balkwell, were guests at the Kuntz -Norris wedding and • reception in Kitchener on May 14. Miss Burt Millen, Battle - ford. Saskatchewan visited recently with Mr. and Mrs. John Miller and family. Recent visitors with the B.
