mixed trees
At the regular meeting of
Hullett Township Council
held on April 18, . a motion
was passed authorizing the
• road superintendent to order
', 100 mixed trees for township
roadsides.
The trees are to be ordered
• through the county road
department.
• In other business council
passed a bylaw to erect stop
' signs at various in-
tersections within the Hullett
Widlife Management Area.
The signs will be put up at
sideroad 10-11, nothbound on
Qtmessjpr,2,and Southbound
on concession 7, on con-
` cession roads 4 and 5, east at
sideroad 20-21 and on
sideroads 15-16, northbound
at concession 2 and south-
bound on consession 7.

piano. Robert Heywood sang.
Miss Dianne Stebbins enter-
tained with step -dancing.
Dianne is a wonderful dancer
with an opportune future.
The guest speaker, Joe
Wooden, principal of. South
Huron High School, talked on
education. Mr. Charles Hay
thanked hint.
A number of Hensall IGOE
and Rebekahs attended the
District Church parade at
Brucefield United Church on
Sunday.
The Bells of St. Marys will
present an evening of music
on Sunday, May 15 at 7:30
p.m. at Carmel Church. May
29 at 11:00 a.m, Rev. Grant
McDonald of Kitchener will
be guest speaker at the
anniversary service, Special
music will be provided for the
anniversary.

Jim Dickins placed sixth
over all in a class of 40 in the
80 B race at the seasons
opening Motocross at Helly
Gully on May 1st.
Captain Ronald A. Mac-
Kinnon of Amherstview
spent the weekend with his
mother Mrs. Janet MacKin-
non.
The sympathy of the com-
munity is extended to Mr.
and Mrs, Carl Payne. with
death of the former's brother
Mr. Floyd B. Payne who died
in Woodingford Lodge,
Woodstock on_ Thursday.

was held on Saturday, with

held a successful rummage
and auction sale in the school

'Church. Many residents
worked extremely hard in
preparing the sale and the
