Winner of the Seaforth and District Minor Hockey draw for

A Seaforth man, Glen Chesney, has, been named a director of
the Bluewater Shrine Club. The club, which contributed over
S8,000 to Shriners hospitals for crippled children and children
who are burn victims, is associated with Mocha Temple in
London.. Dr. Mark Raithby of Goderich is the club's new
president. Other directors from this area are Ross Scott of
Brucefield. Bob Drysdale of Hensel) and Fred Thuell of
Brussels.
Winners of the Oddfellow euchre are Mary Robinson, Mary
Broadfoot, Mrs. Thorndyke, Ed Byers, Frank Smale and Eldon
Kerr.
Two more winners have been announced in the
Seaforth and District Minor Hockey Association's weekly
draws: Winners of S50 each are Sharon Wilbee of Seaforth.

Perth County Homeowners with Urea Formaldehyde
Insulation (HUFFI) have applications available for the federal
ministry of consumer and corporate affairs insulation removal
course for homeowners and contractors.
Perth HUFFI representative, Phil Brown, says applications
may be obtained by calling 273-1117 or picked up at his
residence, 115 Coburg St. Stratford. The homeowners course
will cost 525 and the fulltime contractors' course $145 plus 5179
for registration. The course will be held eight hours a day. Feb.
1.5-18, in Stratford at a location yet to be announced.
A St. Columban hockey player. Rob Lane, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Jack Lane was featured on the back page of the St. Marys
Journal -Argus last week. The cutline under his photo notes
that Rob hadscoredfour goals in the last three games for the St.
Marys Lincolns.
In other hockey news, Dave Shaw, son of SDHS principal
Bruce Shaw, played his first NJ'IC game recently for the Quebec
Nordiques. His parents and some friends were in the crowd for
. the second game, played in Pitts u10.,,
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Mero ha4e returned from a trip to
Tennessee, Texas and Mexico.
Ladies Division, Clinton Spring Fair classes have been
drawn up. Lists are available at the Seaforth Sewing Centre

nonite Fellowship was a part

be participating in will be
Friday. February 25, 2-7 p.m.
Every Wednesday eve-
ning. February 2 - March 16,
7:30 - 9:15 p.m. there will be
a study from the book 'Caring
Enough to Hear' at the
Brussels Mennonite Fellow-
ship.
The monthly worship ser-
vice at the Callender Nursing
Home was held on Jan. 28.
Following this worship ser-
vice there was a surprise first
wedding anniversary party
held for Pastor Doug and
Mim Zehr at the church. A
mock wedding done by the
youth of the congregation was
part of the evening celebra-
tion.

Cutcheon. and Jeanne Ire-

Blaire Fisher was thanked
for his work as secretary -
treasurer and Margaret
Shortreed was appointed
1983 sec.-treas. Auditors for
the coming year are Blaire
Fisher and Dave McCutch-
eon.
There was a discussion
about having the usual con-
gregational weekend at Camp
Kintail near the first of June.
There will be an Easter
morning breakfast again this
year: There will be a Con-
gress '83 weekend held at the
University of Toronto in May.
' No delegates were appointed
at the meeting - further
information will appear in the
church bulletin.
The Board of Managers
reported that the kitchen had
been completely renovated
this year; a new P.A. system
had been installed; a cabinet
for the controls of the P.A.
system and a stand for the
Memorial Book were made by
Jim Mair and are now in use.
