The Huron Expositor, 1989-11-22, Page 55Gift shop in
new location
The original Hospital Auxiliary Gift
Shop. was located at the end of the hall,
just inside the door at the front en-
trance, and its convenors were Reg and
Bess Grieve.
The demand for space however, made
it necessary to relocate. So the visitor's
lounge at the front of the hospital
became the new home of the gift shop.
Once again, though, progress has
brought about another new location for
the gift shop. Unlike the two previous
shops, however, this latest one has been
specifically designed with the Aux-
iliary's needs in mind. Special lighting,
display windows, and adjustable shelv-
ing are features which have now been
incorporated into the new design.
The opening of the new Gift Shop will
be Saturday, November 25, in conjunc-
tion with the opening of the emergency
expansion and the hospital renovations.
The Auxiliary appreciates the board
recognizing the importance of the Gift
Shop, the patients and the .staff, and
wishes to thank them for this beautiful
new shop.
While doing your Christmas shopping
don't forget the Hospital Auxiliary Gift
Shop.
