Seaforth Physiotherapy Depart- ment is responsible for treating in- patients and out-patients for musculo- skeletal problems and neurological and respiratory disease's. The current emphasis in therapy is toward part education prevention and "hands on" treatment, with less em- phasis on the use of modalities such as electrical eq uipment, although the Seaforth department has everything that a modern, city department would have. Use is still made of heat, ice, ultra- sound, interferential current therapy, electrical stimulation etc., when the therapist feels it is indicated.
