Seaforth businesses and former
Seaforth residents were also approach-
ed for contributions to the hospital ad-
dition, and letters soliciting donations
from corporations with .. branches in

local service clubs, organizations and
special events, slowly nudging the fund

The community of Seaforth has
responded to the call for donations
selflessly. Each contribution, from the
Optimists' cheque for $25 000 to the $787
raised by the High School walkathon,
has been gratefully acknowledged by
the Fundraising Committee. Members
of the town stretched their imagination,
and pocketbooks to come, up with ways
to raise money for the addition. Cana-
dian Tire promoted a Coupon Drive.
