worked out b} the superintendent,
Valerie Drope, who had served the
hospital capably for many years
Hospitals, however, if they are to
properly prvide for the people m the
communites the serve, must be
resonsible for a continuing process
that reflects the changes and
developments as they occur in the
health care field. A hospital cannot af-
ford to stand still. It must continually
seek ways to improve patient care and
Imaging
to provide additional services. The
hospital building which was brought
into use in 1965 served the communi-
ty well for nearly 20 years, as did the
Scott Memorial Hospital for more than
30 years before that.
With those thoughts in mind, the
hospital board appointed consultant
Agnew Peckham and Associates to do
a role review, a master program and
a master plan to determine what ad-
ditional changes may be required to
ensure proper care in the future.
