The Fundraising Campaign had its 'of- ficial kick-off on March 28 and now, one week before the ribbon -cutting ceremony at the Seaforth Community Hospital addition, the Fundraising Com- mittee is close to its original goal of $900 00O. Merlin Vincent, Chairman of the Fun- draising Committee, mobilized a force of 330 canvassers and captains early in March for a two-week long door-to-door blitz. The canvass covered Seaforth and the Townships of McKillop, Tuckersmith, and Hulled along with portions of Morris, Grey . Logan and Stanley Townships. As of March 29, the Building Fund stood at $100 000.
