Mrs. Desch and their dog Jake. 'Mr.
aaesch talked to the class about his
liakery and then „everyone sampled his
Last week Mrs. Dick came to the
etsehool. She taught everyone how to mix
:colors. What an array cof .colors we had
to paint with then. We enjoyed her ,bears
and especially the story, Paddington
Bears 'Paintbox.
This week we are learning to estimate.
We had to guess how many jelly beans
were in a jar. Melanie Culbert was the
closest. We. all enjoyed eating the 132 jel-
ly beans.
Grade 3

Teague Saturday afternoon and .mixed darts
in :the evening. Everybody who has ever
thrown darts please attend this meeting.
The affiliated members who attended the
euchre at the Zone level in Lueknow last
Saturday had an enjoyable time but did
not place too well at the finish.
This Saturday the regular and Associate
members will try their luck in the Zone
euchre at Clinton.
The videotaping of the elementary
schools is now finished with the crew from
the Seaforth Branch having filmed over
2,000 children from the following schools -
St. Colutnban, Dublin, St. James, Seaforth
Public School in Seaforth, and in Clinton
both -Public .and Separate .and the Clinton
Christian School, .plus Vanastra, Hensall,
Brucefield, Zurich Public and Zurich
Separate and Holmesville. The Crew who
gave of their time so freely were Barbara
Scott, George Case, Murray Ross, Cleave
Coombs and Gordon Scott and Bruce
Wilbee who 'made the stand and chose the
camera the Legion provided. It has
become apparent that this job requires
-day-time volunteers, which gives the Senior
retiree members a job which otherwise
might be difficult for members who are
still working. It's hoped the Videos will
never have to be used.
At the going down of the sun and in the
morning we will remember them.
