The congregation was greeted by Pat
Cook -and ushered by Ceeil Pepper -awl Bill
I Noakes. The children's story told about
:belonging to a family, whether it he a
church family or your own family. The
way that we become a member of the
church family is through baptiasm.
Victoria Bisback read the scripture and
',with Mtn Peckham sang a lovely solo.
Rev. Doug Wright's sermon was all
about "Keepin'the Faith" with the church
and with God.
The Friendship Circle meets November
6 at 1:30 pan. and the Anniversary Service
. is November 19. The guest speaker will be
a London Rural Life Consultant, John
King.
The Remembrance Day Services this
year will be a combined service at the
Carmel Presbyterian Church November 5
at 9:45 a.m. followed by the presentation
.and laying of wreaths at the Cenotaph.
HAUNTED 'MOUSE
13ensalre Haunted 'House ,was a .great
'success last'week. •Almost x.500 was .raised,
all of ,which will help 'to pay for the
Library computer.
The other library :fund=raiser, the read-
a-thon ended yesterday, October 31. Would
all :of The children who participated please
hand in their money and sponsor sheets as
soon as possible. There will be -rhes
awarded.
The iHensall Scouting movement will
once .again he selling Christmas:trees. Ask
any Scout, Cub or Beaver for details.
Hensall Branch Library has just com-
pleted a book exchange. Come in and see
what's new.
There :will be a Craft Show and Bake
Sale at the Hensall Arena on November 25.
This event includes a large assortment of
crafts, something for everyone, and is
sponsored by Hensall Minor Hockey.
The Three Links Seniors Euchre Party
was held October 24 with eight tables
playing.
Winners were: Ladies high, Pearl
McKnight, second, Joyce Willert, men's
high, Bill Rogerson, second, Annie Reid,
lone hands Elsie Carlisle.
Draw winners were: Pat Volland, Elsie
Carlisle, Jean Madge and Hilda Payne.
The next Euchre will be held November
28.

Ashley Wettlaufer and Nicholas Chessell
attend the Toddler's Inn Nursery School in
Exeter. They participated, along with some
40 other students, in a walk-a-thon for the
Western Ontario Hospital for Sick Children
at London. Over $2,000 was raised and
Ashley and Nicholas would like to say
thank you for the support.

baptism of their granddaughter, "Tracey
Margaret Lyle" on Sunday at the Knox
Presbyterian Church in St. Thomas. Also
in attendance were Teresa Miller and
Mark Miller of London. Tracey is the
daughter of Jim and Lee (Miller) Lyle, St.
Thomas and everyone was guests at their
home later for dinner,
Kimberly and Danny Bertens were over-
night guests of Barb and Scott Bonikowsky,

Douglas Wright of Kanata spent the past
weekend in Seaforth visiting his mother,
Mrs. Gladys Wright, who is staying at
Maplewood Manor Retirement Home on
Church Street.
Also visiting Mrs. Wright was her sister
Louise Davidson of Listowel. They were
dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Frank
Zurerigg at Listowel on Saturday.
On Thursday Janet Schneider and her
sister, Mildred Eydt of Hanover, visited
with Mrs. Wright, and also visited with
Viola and Lorne Lawson.
Queensway 'residents making wood crafts
Queensway residents welcomed the Hen-
sall UCW ladies Monday afternoon as they
assisted residents at Bingo and provided
prizes.
Tuesday afternoon Reverend Vipperman
led the worship service and following
