A community shower was held for Kathy
Bart on Tuesday evening, October 3, a

assisted opening the gifts by her mother,
Lois, and the .groom's mother Madeline
Thompson. Kathy expressed her thanks for
the many useful gifts and lunch was

The October meeting of the St. Colum -
ban Catholic Women's League was held on
Tuesday, October 10 in the rectory meeting
room with 15 members present.
Mary .Arne Feeney, president, opened':the
meeting with the league prayer. Cor-
respondence was read by Mary Coyne. In-
vitations -were receivedfrom the Bubim:St.
Patrick's 'CWL to their fall bazaar.on Oc-
-tobere38 t4&pemerirethe -church 'hall and
to St. Joseph's Parish,.^;Clinton, fall bazaar
on October 21 from 10 ate. to, 2 pen.
The CWL-will sponsor the Hibbert 4-11
Club on "Good Foods Fast" with a dona-
tion of money.
The McKillop Federation of Agriculture
dinner and .meeting will be held on Mon-
day, November 20 in the St. Columban.
;.parish hall with the CWL ladies catering
for the dinner.
Tickets are available from the ladies for
the parish dance to be held on November
11 in the Brodhagen Community Hall.
The meeting .closed with prayer followed
by light refreshments.

returned from hospital.
