Scott Bonikowsky exchanged marriage
vows on the lawn at the Templehaven
Farms on Saturday, June 10, 1'x,9 at 6:30
p.m.. with the Reverend Lucie Milne of
Cromarty Presbyterian Church 'of-
ficiating. The bride is the daughter of Mr
and Mrs. John Templeman of Staffa and
the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dan
Bonikowsky of Bowmanville. Matron of
honor was Nancy Bertens of Fullerton and
bridesmaids were Nancy McIver of Mit-
chell. and Wanda Martyn and Michelle
Martyn of Russeldale. Best man was
Larry Bonikowsky of Oakville and guests
were ushered by Richard Templeman of
Staffa, Don Ellison of Goderich and Craig
Bonikowsky of Bowmanville. Flower girls
were Cassandra Parsons of Staffa and
Lindsay Templeman of Mitchell, Ring
bearer was Danny Bertens of Fullerton.
Music was provided by guitarist Michelle
Priestap. and soloists Jayne Delaney and
Karen Downey. Over 200 guests attended
the reception at the Mitchell and District
Community Centre. Guests were present
from Southwestern Ontario. as well as
Vancouver, British Columbia. Beausefour,.
Manitoba, Ormstown. Quebec, Isle of
Aaron, Scotland and Essex and Surrey,
England. Master of ceremonies was
Patrick Baker and special speakers were
Rob Templeman and Marty Palusma.
Following a honeymoon in Florida the cou-
ple now reside in Oakville

Marie Pearl Salter of RR 1 Walton and
Gregory William Blake of RR 2 Brussels
were married Saturday, August 5, 1989 at
St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in
Molesworth, by the Reverend Paul
Chambers, assisted by Father Stan
Soltysik. The bride is the daughter of
Clayton and Katherine Salter of RR 1
Listowel, and the groom is the son of John
and Irene Blake of RR 2 Brussels. Maid of
honor was Crystal MacDonald of Listowel
and bridesmaids were Susan Hart of
Listowel, Karen Brears of Listowel .and
Deb McLean of St. Catharines.
Flowergirls were Sarah Hart of Listowel
and Lacey McCall of Brussels. Best man
was Steve Blake of Brussels and guests
were ushered by Don Blake of Blyth,
Michael Blake of Seaforth and Michael
Salter of Listowel. Ringbearers were Mat-
thew McCall of Brussels and Sebastion
Holzamer of Atwood. Organist was
Michelle Blake of Brussels and soloist was
Julie McCall of Brussels. Following a
reception at the Brussels Community Cen-
tre the couple took a wedding trip to
Florida. They will reside at RR 1 Walton.

the trucks were Brian Campbell, Kelly
Dalton, Kyle Hood and Mike Goos. Still
other neighbors provided lunch for the
harvest crew, and drove them back and
forth between farms.
"So many people volunteers their help
. that there weren't enough jobs for them to
do," said Lorne, gratefully.
"We really appreciate what they did. You
don't usually expect to.have to have help,
and they certainly weren't asked, they just

June 17, 1989 at Northside United Church.
United in marriage 'were Elizabeth Anne
Stewart and Lance Eric Becker, The bride
is the daughter of Mac and Joan Stewart of
RR 1 Dublin and the groom is the•son of Ken
and Shirley Becker of New Dundee. 'Maid of
honor was Anne Marie Maloney of Seaforth,
friend of the bride, and bridesmaids were
Mary Lou Stewart of Dublin, sister of the
bride, Lori Gofton of New Dundee, sister of
the groom, Nancy Stewart of Dublin, sister
of the bride and Susan Stewart of Dublin,
sister of the bride. Flowergirl was Amanda
Becker of Delta, British Columbia, cousin of
the groom. Best man was Bruce Weiss of
New Dundee, friend of the groom and guests
were ushered by Bill Stewart of Elora,
brother of the bride, Bill Hostrawser of
Grand Valley, friend of the groom, Martin
Eggenschwiler of Brantford, friend of the
groom,.and Darren Trussle of New Dundee,
cousin of the groom. Ringbearer was Paul
Milton of Stratford, cousin of the bride.

Kitchener, friend of the groom. Organist
was Margaret Whitmore of RR 4 Walton and
duetists were Debbie and David Campbell of
RR 1 Dublin. A reception was held at the
Seaforth and District Community Centres.

ed Ken.
"It's not uncommon for one neighbor to
help another when help is needed. The
neighbors stick together when there is trou-
hle."
"It makes other people stop and think that
if you do have a,time of need, the neighbors
are there. What they did for us is greatly ap-
preciated," continued Betty Glanville.
"We're proud to live in a community that,
cares."

"Right now multi -nationals are getting
bigger, and there aren't many com-
panies to counteract this. If we don't
keep expanding, we may find ourselves
behind. We need to get out and drum up
more business; we need to become
more competative. In order to do so, we
need more volume," he reasoned.
Mr. Boersma expects that more
business and higher volume will result
in better service and bigger dividends in
years to come.
"I feel excited about it." he said.
T.B. Allen has been a family owned
business for 42 years. The elevators
were opened 13 years ago. An announce-
ment signed by Torn, Genevieve and
Keith Allen and sent to the company's
customers and friends said in part: "We
are positive that Hensel] Co-op, with its
vast knowledge and broader scope of
services, will provide .an excellent agri-
service centre to the area.
Keith Allen will remain as manager -
consultant until the transition is com-
pleted, and then plans to devote more
time to his other interests. A priority
will be the broilers, breeders, pullets
and layers on his poultry farm.
Allen's sales manager, Tom Jarrett.
has accepted_ the position of manager o!
both Londesboro operations. Jack Arm-
strong will remain in the feed sales
division.
Robert Anderson will represent the
Londesboro area as a non-voting
member of the Hensall Co-op board of
directors until the company's bylaws
are amended to allow a 10 -member
board.
The Londesboro companies will con-
tinue to operate as T.B. Allen and
Allboro Elevators for another two mon

BENNETT' - Kevin and Mary (Devereaux
are thrilled to announce the safe arrival of
their first child. a son, William Curtis,
Born on Tuesday, July 25, 1989 in Stratford
General Hospital, Curtis weighed in at
.lbs., 10 ozs. Proud grandparents are Bill
and Betty Bennett and Jim Devereaux, all
of Seaforth. Curtis also has two great
grandmothers, Gladys McLarnon and
Margaret Bennett, both of Seaforth.

married Saturday, May 20, 1989 at Et. Col-
umban Catholic Church by Father Joseph
Hardy. The bride is the daughter of Melin-
da and Edward Raycreft of Gadahill and
the groom is the son of Marie.and Francis
Bicknell of Seaforth. Organist was Molly
Young of Monkton and soloists was a sister
of the bride, Suzanne Zehr of Brunner.
Maid of honor was Heather Carson of
Listowel, friend of the bride, and
bridesmaids were .Sharon Raycraft ,and
Peggy Heard, sisters of the :bride, and
Teresa Van Raay, sister of the groom.

dinner and reception .at the ,Sebringville
Community Center, the couple took a
honeymoon trip to Venezuela. They now
reside in Britton.
