Seaforth's Terry Fox Run will be held
on Sunday, September 17, 1989 starting
from the VAN EGMOND HOUSE, which
Will be open from 8 am to 12 noon. Cana-
dians across the country will join
together on this day to run, walk, jog,
bike, wheel or ride the Terry Fox Run.
Make this year's run twice the success.
Bring a friend and double the victory.
Pledge sheets are available at all the
banks, the Post Office, Town Hall, Ar-
chie's Sunoco, Beckers, the Recreation
Office, Slender Concept and the
Chiropractor's Office. If you would like

Wednesday, September 6 and Thursday,
September 7, 1989 from 7 to 9 pm both
nights. Groups that wish to have a table
set up for registration must contact the
Recreation Office at 527-0882 as soon as
possible.
Groups that were involved last
September include; Minor Hockey,
Ringette, Figure Skating, Minor Broom -
ball, Boy Scouts, Girl Guides, the Curling
Qub and the Recreation Department.
Don't miss the comedy softball team,
the CALIFORNIA CUTIES when they
come to Seaforth Lions Park on Thurs-
day, September 7 at 7:30 pm. The
CUTIES will play the Waterloo Chym'rs.
The Chym'rs catcher, is Graham Nesbitt
of Seaforth.
The Cuties travel throughout the United
States and Canada drawing large crowds
wherever they appear. Admission into
Lions Park will be $4 for Adults and $2
for Children. All proceeds will go toward
Minor Ball in Seaforth. The Minor Ball
Association will have a food and 'drink
booth set up at the game. Bring the
whole family and enjoy the evening out.
DR. ZED appears at the Seaforth
Branch Library on Monday, August 14 at
10 am. This show will be for children
ages 7 to 12 years and the audience size
will be limited, so get your ticket today'
Admission fee will be $1 per person. Call

ROLLER SKATING will be held at the
Seaforth and District Community Centres
on Friday, August 11 from 7 to 10 pm.
Doors open at 6:30 pm.

WHEEL, WHEELS, WHEELS Car Show
plus antique farm machinery show. Sun-
day, August 20, 1989 from 12 noon until
5:30 pm at the Seaforth Arena. Door
