A FULL HOUSE was in attendance Saturday at a professional
development day entitled 'Growing Together' held for Huron
Perth Catholic teachers at St. James School in Seaforth. The
teachers were welcomed to the day with a 'Humour in the
Workplace' session led by members of the Second City Troupe
out of London. Following that, teachers had'their choice of atten-
ding one out of three workshops - How to Get a Promotion, Com-
municating with Confidence, and Coping with Life Stress through

Female Turner cousins hold annual reunion
The Turner Female Cousins Club met for
their spring reunion at the home of cousin
Anne Frances, Wellington Terrace in
Mitchell.
Cousin Marie Sutherland was co -hostess
with her sister Anne.
They met at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, May 2nd,
with dinner at the Crosswinds following.
After dinner, we returned to Anne's apart-
ment for an afternoon of crafts and gift
exchanges.
The special event of the day was Marie's
birthday, with cake and ice cream, and even
candles (39 and holding). A few of the girls
went back to the Ritz Villa to visit with Aunt
Ada Davidson, who was unable to attend.
We also enjoyed slides shown by Joan
Daynard of their family trip to Africa, most
of which were thrilling, especially with wild
animals around the campsite.
The afternoon was closed off with the
usual 'light lunch) afltilWthey meet again at
the home of cousin Beth McEwen as hostess
in Stratford. planned. for. Tuesday, October
3rd.
Cousins present were Donna Gatenby,
Kitchener; Joyce McKay, Beth McEwen,
Anna O'Donnell, all from Stratford; Eileen
MacRae, Dublin; Marie Sutherland,
Woodstock, and hostess Anne Frances.
