'William Papple of Egmondville ay.; Martin James Coonan,
son of Mrs. Helen Coonan of London and the late Arnold
Coonan, were married Oct. 30 at Knollwood Park
Presbyterian Church, London by Rev. T.A.A. Duke off First
Presbyterian Church, Seaforth. Dianne McGrath of
Egmontiville was matron of honour and bridesmaids were
Julie (Bell) Groh off Wingham; Lori Savauge off.Kitchener;
Lauren Murphy of Owen Sound and Susan.' Kearns df
Chatham. Mark Hanlon of London was best55nan and the
guests were ushered by Wayne Coonan, brother of the
groom of London; John Larcombe of Mississauga; Dave
Campbell and . Ralph Maniago, both of 1,,ondon. A
reception followed at the Ukraina Resort and Country
Club• London. The couple are living in Mississauga.
Legion ladies donate
Gloria Racho presented all
the ladies with a small gift.
The evening was. spent in
playing euchre and conversa-
tion was enjoyed by all.
A very Merry Christmas is
wished to all members and
friends.

The Legion Ladies Auxil-
iary met Dec. 1 with 31
answering the"roll call.
Reports were given by the
committees. 55.000 was
given at the Veteran banquet
in November 6 to the branch'
to,•help ,pay for the new
furniture in the lounge and a
donation of 51.000 to Park -
wood Hospital to be built on
the Westminster Hospital
campus. Also a donation of
525 to • Huron Day Care
Centre. Clinton. Donations
were also given to Kilbarchan
and the ^ Manor Nursing
Homes.
Dues for 1983 can be paid
to Gloria Racho or Olave
Little.
The annual children's
Christmas party will be held
on Dec, 19 at 2 p.m. Anyone
with a child willing to partici-
pate in the concert please
contact Barbara Scott at 527-
I-8- as soon as possible.
After the meeting which
was held at the home of
Jacquie Racho the ladies
were treated to a smorgas-
bord supper catered
by Jacquie and her sister Bea.
They had decorated the
tables and room for Christ-
mas and cven•thing was very
much appreciated. Jacquie
w as presented with a gift by
the Auxiliary for her ktna•
ness.
