Les is a pastorto all the church personel and congregations . in the , six Presbyteries of the Hami'tton Conference. The choir with Marjotie Papple organist sang The sermon taken by the guest minister Rev. McSpad- den was "Small is Beauti• ful". A social time was held in the church basement follow• ing the service. Rev. Mc- Spadden was born and raised in the Winthrop area. Earl McSpadden, a brother, lives on the McSpadden farm near Winthrop. PERSONALS A large crowd of well wishers attended the wed• ding reception for Mr. and Mrs. Ray McNichol held at the Brussels Community Centre following their wed- ding in Auburn. Music was enjoyed by the "Country Companions" and a cold plate dinner was served by, the Cavan United Church Young People. A stag and doe party was held for Ray and Linda in.the Blyth Community Centre a few weeks before their wed- ding.
