Agnes and Norman Schade

Open house was held on
Sunday. October 17 for Mr.
and Mrs. Norman Schade of
Walton held at Walton United
Church, Oct. 15, 1982.
The couple were married
on Oct. 15, 1952, 50 years ago
in Trowbridge United
Church. Agnes Nesbitt was
the daughter of the late Mr.
and Mrs. Henry Nesbitt and
Norman the son of the late
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schade,
all of Listowel area.
Their attendants were Mr,
and Mrs. Blake Nesbitt, a
brother and sister-in•Iaw of
the bride:
After a short honeymoom
they moved to their farm in
McKillop Township where
they still reside. They 'have
been blessed with wonderful
neighbours and friends. •
Norman worked as an elec-
trician for Frank Kling Ltd, at
Seaforth for a number of
years.

They have been members
ofiie Walton United Church
for 50 years and Agnes has
been active in U.C.W. as well
as the Women's Institute.
They have a family of one
son Elgin and his wife Ruth,
and their daughters Jane and
Nancy. They also have a
daughter Muriel, Mrs. How-
ard Maier of Dashwood. They
have two' sons, Mike and
Tom.
Mary McCall, Anna Mc-
Nichol, Gertrudebriscoll and
Lavina Watson poured tea for
the occasion.
The ladies from the McKil-
lop U.C,W. group served
lunch.

Stratford, Thamesford, Lis-

Women Today, plans a se•
cond annual series of work•
shops.
"It's Just Your Nerves" is
the title of the first session, to
be held at Seaforth Public
School in Seaforth in Nnvem
ber. followed by "Depend
ence/Independence" in Es•
eter in December. Women
and the media is the topic of
the January session, to he
held in Winghant. All the
workshops will be held in the
evenings. with exact dates
and locations to be announc-
ed. . •
A day long seminar on
creativity will be held in
February, with another day
lung session, on "Communi-
cation in Partnerships" for
sten and women to be held in
the Goderich arca in March.
Also in February. Women
Today will host an evening
workshop on aging and self -
