Monday evening with the
president, Anne Pushelberg
leading the 4•H Pledge.

Each member answered
the roll call "name one way
of providing a warm place for
rising dough."
Barb Scherbarth had pre•
pared "buttermilk" dough to
the first rising period. The
dough was then deflated,
shaped in one loaf of bread
and 16 pan rolls. covered and
left to rise for one ,ore hour,
Jean Ahrens lead in the
discussion of kssenttal tech-
niques in mixing bread
doughs. Shaping a pan loaf
and rolls and the effects of
milk and fats on bread.
The girls returned to the
kitchen, where each took part
in the preparation of "Finnish
health bread." Included in
the recipe was wheat germ,
rye flour, and whole wheat
flour, which makes this
bread very nutritious. The
dough was then left to rise
and will be sampled next
meeting. Meanwhile the
buttermilk bread and rolls
were put in the oven for 25
mintues.
After clean up. the girls
enjoyed sampling both the
bread and the rolls. Next
week they will make "deli
rye" loaf and Toni corn•
bread,"
Local HPRCSS trusteees run
Onls seven of the 14•members of the
Huron -Perth Separate School Board have
definitely decided to run for reelection in the
upcnming municipal election on Nov. 8.
At the board's Sept. 26 meeting. chairman
John O'Leary polled his colleagues to see if
they would be seeking trusteeship for a
three-year term.

papers." said Mr. O'Leary.
Three trustees said they will definitely not
he running. Ted Geoffrel who represents
lurieh. Hensall and the ' ns nship of 'Hay
reiterated what he had said at the hoard's
previous meeting. that he would not he
running again. Also Jeannette E.shergen of
titratterd and Vincent Young of Goderich
won't he running again. Trustee Eybergen is
a two -sear veteran of the board, while Mr,
Young has been on the hoard since its
inception in 1969 aril prior to that on the
(,oderich separate khool fioard.
