Mrs. Grace Baggett, her daughter Mae and son-in-law,
Mr. and Mrs. Don Anderson of Minneapolis visited with
her sister Mrs. E Thompson and Jack Thompson last
week. They left Saturday for Hamilton, and Toronto.
While -in Toronto they will attend a Welsh Mvsical'Festival
on the holiday weekend before returning home.
Mrs. Elizabeth Hanes and Grant of Duntroon spent—a
few days last week with Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Townsend of
Harphurey.
Mr. and Mrs. John Flannery arrived home from Europe
on Sunday. They were on the "40th anniversary Dieppe
Pilgrimage" and visited all the Canadian War Cemetery s
and the Vimy Ridge Memorial of W.W.I.. Canadian
Veterans toured London (England) Rruen Normandy,
Paris, Dunkirk (all in France) then to Brt}gges Ghent,
Antwerp, Brussels (Belgium) Bergen of' Zoom and
Amsterdam (Holland).
The tour was in charge of leaders Roy Kennett Deputy
District "D': (Ont.) Commander and Dorothea Ryan
Deputy Ditstrict "D" (Ont) Commander.

Mr. and Mrs, William McMillan spent Wednesday with
Mr. and Mrs. Gen -ick Campbell of Exeter.
Seaforth fire chief Harry Hak and Mrs. Hak returned
home Tuesday from a vacation trip to the Netherlands.
While there, they attended the'600th birthday celebrations
of the village where Harry was born.
Mrs. Violet Elgie has had a pleasant holiday with her
family and friends in Kitchener and R.R. 1. Cambridge.
While visiting in Cambridge, she attended the party given
by tate family of Frances and Don McKnight on the
occasion of their 35th annisersary. They were married
August 16th. 1947 at the Elgie home in Tuckersmith,

Ladies Auxiliary is going on
their annual bus trip the same

gion Bowling will be starting
a week's holidays. He ,grad-
uated from grade 12 in Truro
and is returning to school to
pick up extra credits while
deciding what career •he
wants to pursue.. There is no
grade 13 in Nova Scotia, .
Richard is in Lethbridge,
Alta. in connection with his
course in civil engineering
technology at Fanshawe, and

is enjoying the work there.
Berne and Doris visited him
while in Edmonton at the
hatchery convention. Doris
has been teaching ukelele
part-time to student school
teachers at college, and has
joined their church's Bell
Ringers.
Jean Reid's "puppy dog"
crib quilt won first prize at
Bayfield Fair. Congratulat-
ions. Jean!
Varna and Goshen church-
es will return to their regular
time of 10:00 and 1L:30 this
Sunday. Sunday school re-
sumes a week from Sunday at
both churches.
