Family Day
WinterFest
Popular Holiday Monday celebration in
February draws thousands to South Huron
Lots of snow fell this
month as community groups
in the South Huron area
started plans for the return
of Family Day WinterFest
South Huron. The popular
winter celebration is to take
place on Holiday Monday,
February 16, 2015.
Thousands of people,
including locals and visitors,
have taken part in the Family
Day events since 2010 when
the Exeter Lions Club first
held its Family Day Break-
fast. Other community
groups joined forces in 2011
to add family -friendly activi-
ties for the holiday Monday
and the one -day winter festi-
val has been growing ever
since.
"For the sixth consecutive
year, The Exeter Lions Club
is proud to be hosting the
Family Day Breakfast to be
held in conjunction with
Family Day WinterFest
South Huron 2015," said Exe-
ter Lions Club President
Chris Keller. "We, as a club,
are thankful for the support
that we receive throughout
the year from the residents of
South Huron and surround-
ing areas. We are also
pleased to partner with the
other service groups and
organizations that make
WinterFest a fun day for the
whole family. In a small way,
the Family Day Breakfast at
WinterFest is our way of say-
ing thank you to the commu-
nity. So, come out early,
enjoy the activities and start
