for Care -A -Van of Hope
United Way Perth -Huron has
once again announced a part-
nership with Scotiabank for the
2015 Care -A -Van of Hope. Sco-
tiabank branches across Perth
and Huron will be collecting
donations from Dec. 1 to Dec.
10. Through its Team Scotia
Community Program, Scotia -
bank will be matching dona-
tions up to $15,000.
"We are honoured to be
involved with this matching
program for the fifth year," said
Don McNabb, Community
Branch Manager at Scotiabank.
"We know there is need in our
community, and Scotiabank is
happy to work with the United
Way of Perth -Huron to help
make our community better for
everyone:'
"We each have the power to
help strengthen the fabric of
our community. Through
United Way we can donate the
time and money to help thou-
sands of residents across
Huron and Perth, improving
lives and strengthening fami-
lies". "I work in both counties,
as the President & CEO of
HPHA, and see first-hand the
importance of the United
Way, so it is an honour and a
privilege to have been asked
to Chair the campaign. I look
forward to engaging as many
supporters as possible to
assure its success during the
Care -A -Van of Hope" Andrew
Williams, campaign chair,
said.
On Dec. 10, UWPH staff,
volunteers and supporters will
travel to Scotiabank branches
in St. Marys, Exeter, Goderich,
Listowel, Milverton, Mitchell
and Stratford to collect the
money raised at the branches
and accept additional dona-
tions. We will hear stories
from United Way member
agencies and receive greetings
from local dignitaries. All are
welcome to join the us at one
of the stops to celebrate the
work of the United Way and
learn more about how dona-
