UNIT HAS CHRISTMAS PARTY The Walton Unit held their Christmas Party on Wednes- day evening in the church basement, decorated for Christmas. The losing side of the copper contest prepared and served a delicious smorgasbord. Rev. Swan said Grace and 31 had chick- en with all the trimmings. Mrs. Bill Coutts, copper contest leader conducted a short program beginning with the winning side taking part in musical &airs follow- . ed by a sing song of Christ- mas Carols. Mrs. Herby Tra vi ss was pianist. A musical number was given by Mrs. E. Mitchell and Mrs. Traviss. •, . Rev. Charles IV. Swan was the guest speaker and show- ed, slides of Bermuda. He also had articles on display and gave a very interesting talk on his native land. Mrs. H. Bolger and Mrs. G. Mur- ray were in charge of the gift exchange. Mrs. Ian Wilbee the other copper contest leader thanked the losing side. Mrs. Bill Coutts thank- ed her side. • Mrs. Bill Humphries cont- ributed a couple readings on "How rich are you" and "What is Christmas." Shut- ins are going to be rerhemb- ered with calendars again this year. Silent Night brought the evening to a close.
