blopkabout what to 'wt!ite
about for this week'scolumn.
Sure, I thought : about' cont -

Christmas shopping and al-
most every other thing in the
book, but it's not exactlY
what people want to read,
Susan White, our editor
suggested a column on .the
Santa Claus parade. this
Saturday, "Weren't, you al=
ways excited when the Santa
Claus parade was coming to
Seaforth?" she asked. -
"There was a Santa
Clans parade in Scaforth
when I was little", I replied.
Then she said "Well, there
was when I was a little kid."

I'm sure not saying that
wish I wasnever,born. If. it
weren't for the fact that I was

in .Seaforth wouldn't he able
to look forward to Kids Teens
In Betweens every week.
The way prices have gone
,up since I was little is unreal
too. . It sOrned ' like the
powers that be waited until I
start buying skipping ropes
when I was six or seven to
raise the price five cents.,,,
Then when I started buying
clothes for Myself in -grade
six,or seven, clothes seemed
to get awfully expensive. By
'the time I'm ready to buy a
car or house they'll cost in
Remember when you could
buy a bag of chips for ten
cents? The price wasn't
raised to a whole 15 cents
until I discovered I liked salt
and vinegar chips.

would feel rather unlucky is
the teens who would be
