Who
BY PATRICIA MUM
It's been a puzzler te
many all through the sum-
mer holidays and new still is,
Than,last Friday night many
of the citizens of Seaforth
stayed home so that .they
could find out the answer.
Then finditig that it would be
concluded on -Sunday night,
they continued to puzzle and
come up with the conclusion.
Sunday .night they, watched
the TV again to discover that
the, secret wouldn't be re-
vealed for a few more
episodes.
Confused? you don't know
yet what I ant talking about?
I'm talking about the subject
of many convof____
people all throughout the
contment. Who really shot
J.R. Ewing?•
While talking to a few of
the future private detectives
of Seaforth, 1 found that a lot
of the high school students
would make good prosecu-
tors. We won't know for sure
who shot J.R. for another few
weeks yet but when we find
out, everyone will either be
teens,
tweens
completely shocked or saying
"1 told you so!" Still con-
fused about what I'm writing
about?. Read on!
Dallas was a popular TV
program on Friday nights
about a very wealthy family,
the Ewings. Since someone
shot J.R. Ewing, the head of
Ewing Oil in the spring, it
has becdme the most popular
program around. Everyone
knows the name J.R.
whether they watch the shew
or not. They know that he's
been shot and they're trying
to find the culprit.
Actually it's been fun
listening to different motives
and solutions to•the problem.
. For many, it is craziness but
,
•
they watch it anyway. Others
would be furious if the
producer decided to finish
the series without telling who
shot J.R. Never -the -less,
here are the suspects.
Sue Ellen, J.R,'s wife was
trying to give him a divor.ce
boyfriend. J.R: refused.
J.R',s brother Bobby is also a
suspect although he was said
to have been in California
after J.R. had driven him
away from'. Dallas. Bobby
would run Ewing Oil if J.R.
died.
Pam is Bobby's Wife. She
plays the loving innocent
type but yet she never ,did
like J.R. very much. Mark

her up on the list. Pam's
brother has also been ae,
cused of the attempted niur-
der. as the Ewings don't get'
along with his family. Kris-
ten, Sue Ellen's sister was
U.'s secretary. She too,
was a prime suspect. Take
your pick, who do you think
shot J.R.? There's fots of
others too.
. TOO OBVIOUS
Leo Teatero said "Sue
Ellen didn't do it. I think
she's too obvious. I think
someone stupid did it like the
. maid, Maybe the butler did
it." Good guess. AB said
"his mom did it because he's
driving everyone (Gary and
-„Bobby)--away,--His•-morrriiked---
his other two brothers better
so she shot J.R. so they could
come back." MB said
"Kristen did it because
always using her and'
she's getting fed up with his
little games:"
Tammy Driscoll doesn't
know tooabout the
show and ati really say
that anyone did it. Jannette
Rock said "I think it was his
wife (Sue Ellen). It had to be,
She had that "blackout. She
just doesn't have an honest
face."
Debbie Henderson
'thought it was the secretary.
"Sue Ellen's sister, because
she has good motives. He
used her. But .Sue Ellen. is
.`1
acting suspicious." Darlene
Henderson said "1 did. Na, 1
tkink Sue Ellen did. ft could
have been that Leeland guy.
He hates J.R. It could have
been Sue Ellen because of
the way she's acting. It
wuld've been anyone. Sue
Ellen gets so drunk all the
time she doesn't know,what
she's doing so I think she did
