to go to the Goderich Mus-
eum and Tug Boat rides.
After the tugboat rides,every
one took a swim in the lake
and then had lunch. The
'museum tour was A complete
success. Everyone had a
great time.
PRReSCHOOL NURSERY
It was a success though we
only had four children the
first week. The next , two
weeks 'we will not be operat-
ing due to the Bible school.
PLAYGROUND PROGRAM
Last Monday July 14 at

break her hip. She has now
been able to return home,
but is confined to her bed.

REV. HAROLD J. SNELL
Reverend Harold J. Snell
of Exeter died at University
Hospital, London on Satur-
day. July 19.. He was in his
• 75th year.
A native of Milieu, Mr.
Snell was a son of the late
Humphrey Snell -and Edith
Hawthorne and after attend-
ing school at No. 5 and No.
10 Hullett, attended Clinton
Collegiate. Graduating from
Victoria College, University
of Toronto, he taught for
several years at Albert Col-
lege. Belleville before study-
ing for the Ministry at
Queens University. King-
ston.
On graduation he served in
mission fields in the west for
a short time before returning
to Ontario where he served
congregations at Ethel. Aub-
urn, Exeter and Oakridge
Acres, London. Returning to
Exeter. he served as assist-
ant at Exeter United before
retiring four years ago.
Mr. Snell is survived by
his wife the former Jean
Plumsteel to whom he was
married in 1936 at Clinton
and by a son Peter Snell of
London. He also is survived
by a sister, Mrs: Albert
Sims. Kelowna, B.C., and
brothers Helmer; Seaforth.
Donald of Waterloo and
James of Ballymote and by
two grandchildren Linda and
Heather Snell. He was pre-
deceased by two sons Roger
and Gordon Snell and by a
'brother Gordon.
The remains rested at the
Hopper -Hockey Funeral
Home Exeter until Tuesday
when a funeral' service was
held in Exeter United Church
conducted by Rev. James
Grant Mills. Interment fol-
lowed in Balrs Cemetery.

MYRTLE WKEYS
A. Hullett Twp. native and
fifelong resident of the area,
Myrtle Wade Keys died eta
July 5, 1980 in her ninetieth
year.
Mrs. Keys was born on
June 17. 1891 in Hullett Twp.
to John Teplady and the
former Ruth Wade. In Dec-
ember 1918 she was married
to Clifford Keys in Clinton
and the couple made their
home at R.R. 1. Varna until
Mrs. Keys moved to Huron -
view four years ago. She was
a member of the United
Church.
Mrs. Keys was pre-
deceased by her parents, her
husband and one daughter,
Sybil Allen. She is survived
by two sons Bruce and Jim of
R.R. 1, Varna. nine grand-
children, seventeen great
grandchildren and four step
great grandchildren.
Rev. Wilena Brown con-
ducted the ftineral service at
the Ball Funeral Home 10
Clinton' on July 8 and inter-
ment followed at Bayfield
Cemetety.
Pallbearers were Ervin Sil-
lery of Brucefield, Chester
Sturdy of Goderich, Arnold
Keys of Varna and three of
her grandsons. Ervin Keys of
Varna, Ron Keys of London
and Andre DeDecker of
Tillsonburg.
The flower bearers were
four of her great grand-
children, Wayne and David
Mahood and Anne and Jim
Allan all of Goderich,
