Ste Columban Under -17's win 2-1
The Atom I and II soccer teams battled
it ,out in Dublin on Monday evening, May
14. It was a tight game with the score sit-
ting at 2-1 for the Atom I's at the half, on
goals scored by Scott Schoonderwoerd and
assisted on the first by Tricia Hansen. The
mighty Atom II's pulled their socks up in
the second half and rallied to score four
goals, finishing the game with a decisive'
5-2 win over the I's. Matthew Cronin
played well in the Atom I's net, helped by
Nicole Munro and Robbie Janmaat on
defence, but the Atom II scoring barrage
was too much to hold back.
The St. Columban Atom III team, mean-
while, travelled to Exeter where they
silenced their hosts 7-0. Scoring for the St.
Columban squad was Larry Kelly (2),
Scott Henderson (2), assisted by J.D.
Nolan on all four goals. Kelly Boven
scored on a free kick, and Julianne
Crowley racked up another point on a
penalty kick. J.D. Nolan rounded out the
scoring with an unassisted goal.

thisgame by Mike Murray in the first
half, relieved by Scott Henderon in the se-
cond half. The Atom m's, with Tim Sills,
Denise O'Reilly, Amy Ford, Luke -Brennan,

.Rough, dirty play on the part of the 11-
