such as machining, welding, fitting, assembly, aligning, trouble shooting, precision
measurement, etc.
We require fully qualified, mechanical tradespeople (Ontario Certificate of
Qualification in trades such as Millwright, Machinist, Mechanic, Fitter, etc. or
several valid welding tickets and experience). You should have Ontario grade 12
or a proven equivalent (if evaluation is needed contact the Ministry of Education
or your local High School) and an interest in learning and improving your skills.

High School Grad's
As a trainee Nuclear Operator, you will be an essential part of a team of highly
trained men and women responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a wide
variety of interesting equipment. You will monitor and assist in the control of the
reactors and turbine/generator sets, as well as auxiliary systems such as fuel
handling, electrical distribution, heavy water upgrading, containment systems,
testing of plant safety systems and providing work protection to other personnel
in order to ensure their safety. Please note: you will be required to work shifts.
You must have Ontario grade 13 (six OACs) with grade 13/OAC credits in math
and physics or chemistry or a proven equivalent (if evaluation is needed contact
the Ministry of Education or your local High School). Qualified applicants will have
high school level scientific/technical knowledge or better and ideally, an industrial

Shift Control Technicians / Electricians
You will be responsible for a complete range of activities on electrical, electronic
and instrumentation equipment and systems including installations, commissioning,,
modifications, overhaul inspections, trouble shooting, repair and preventative
maintenance.
You must have completed an electrical/instrumentation apprenticeship or have a
community college diploma in electrical, instrumentation or electronics.

Shift Assistant Chemical Technician
You will perform chemical tests and analyses to establish control of the chernical
characteristics and parameters of the station system and plant processes. Your
duties will include the set-up and operation of test apparatus, the care of
