between these two teoddst an the, best of
three series, was Saturday eyenutg in
Seaforth•
The first period was scoreless until the
last 32 seconds when Clinton.had a power
play and took a one goal lead..
Seaforth was quickto take up the
challenge and answere-d it with five goals
'in the second period. On the first goal,
Bruce griffin and Brandon Nash assisted
on Shaun Anstett's goal which was a high
shot from the face off circle. One minute
later, Brent Hulley got the puck out of his
end and up to Chris Marion who easily
went around one player at the blue line
and picked off the corner. The next goal
was a three on none play as Brandon
Nash, Jason Smith and Chris Marion all
flew down the ice together with Chris hit-
ting the target. The fourth goal showed off
some of the passing skills the boys have
acquired in their practices, as Josh Dietz
in the corner passed to Mark Van Dooren
behind the net who passed out front to

goal gave Chris a hat trick in the space of

Seaforth started the scoring in the third
period. With this five goal lead the crowd
started to relay a little. Jason Smith click-

went into Clinton, territory with Brandon
Nash on a two on one play. Once again the
Thursday training sessions paid off as
Chris Marion passed the puck to Brandon
Nash who slid it in the open side.
Seaforth's seventh and final goal came as
the team was changing on the fly. Bruce
Griffin passed it out of his end to Derek

came off the bench and was building
speed. This gave Shaun a breakaway and

worked their hardest and did a super job
of keeping the Clinton team occupied. They
didn't let the opposition set up a play or
score even one goal. The final score was
Seaforth 7 - Clinton 4. This puts Clinton out
of the playoffs.
The Seaforth Atoms play the winner of
