Part of that format included the publicization of meeting dates. The meeting dates for such special pur- pose committees as LACAC, the Arena, BIA, Planning Advisory, Streetscape, Economic Development, Recreation and any other special purpose committee as identified from time to time by Seaforth Council, will be announced weekly in The Huron Expositor under the heading "Civic Court". Civic Court will appeals on page four of the newspaper, and will contain listings for the upcoming week of Thursday to Wednesday. Those attending the meetings, are asked to study the forum for public participation as listed here: Delegations and deputations will be received only when they have been re- quested to be placed on the agenda; and a maximum 15 minute question period wi i be provided at the end of each meeting to provide the public with an opportunity for questions or comments. The proposed by-law would permit the car- rying on of a retail business on New Year's Day; Victoria Day; Labour Day; Thanksgiving Day and the 26th day of December between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. and would require the closing of businesses, except those exempted under Section 3 of the Retail . Business Holiday Act on Good Friday; Canada Day; Christmas Day and Sun- day. A copy of the proposed by-law may be obtained from the Clerk's Office, 72 Main Street South, Seaforth, during of- fice hours. Absent for the photo was contestant Lori Bruxer of Dublin. Elliott photo. ENOS BOSHART Enos Boshart of Seaforth, died Thursday, January 18, 1990, at the Seaforth Communi- ty Hospital. He was 79. Born at Millbank, he was a son of the late John Boshart and the former Catherine Nafziger. Mr. Boshart was a member of Poole Mennonite Church. He and his brother Lewis had owned and operated John Boshart and Sons Ltd. over 30 years and later he sold hardware for Cardinal Fasteners. Mr. Boshart is survived by his wife, the former Selina Albrecht; children, Mrs. Kathryn McDermott of London, Mary Jean MacLeod and husband Alex of Dorchester, William and wife Nellie of Lucan, and Jane Boshart-McLeary and husband Dan of Toronto. Also survivinfg are: a brother Lewis of Seaforth; and six grandchildren, Natalie, ITUA,`'_ ES Scott, Gregory, Daryl, Kevin and Michael. In addition to his parents, Mr. Boshart was predeceased by his stepmother, the former Sarah Nafziger; and a son-in-law Jack McDermott. Friends were received at the Wihitney- Ribey Funeral Home in Seaforth, and removal was made to the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home in Milverton on Saturday. On Sunday, transfer was made to the Poole Mennonite Church for a service there. Pastor David Brubacher officiated. Spring burial will be in the church cemetery. As experessions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Mennonite Central Committee. increacume � 1 lainbe Price TANDY1000T112 ROSS SCOTT Ross Scott of Maplewood Manor, Seaforth, and formerly of Brucefield, died Sunday, January 21, 1990 at the Seaforth Community Hospital. He was 92. Mr. Scott is survived by a daughter Ruth (Mrs. Leon Rushcall) of Sardis, British Columbia; one brother, William D. Scott of Seaforth; and a sister, Ellen Scott of London. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Emily Alice Rattenbury; one son Kenneth; and two sisters, Ina and Elizabeth. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the charity of one's choice. IRENE G. SMIlTH Irene G. Smith of Seaforth died Friday, January 19, 1990 at the Stratford General Hospital. She was 77. The former Irene G. Code, she is surviv- ed by five sons, Donald and his wife Ber- nice of Huntsville, Ken and his wife Ruth of Egmondville, Wayne and his wife Marlene of Egmondville, Elson and his wife Dorothy of Egmondville and Harold and his wife Marie of Tuckersmith Township; and one daughter, Margaret and her husband Tom Cross of Cambridge. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and one sister, Betty (Mrs. Nick McKenney) of Kamloops, British Columbia. Mrs. Smith was predeceased by her hus- band Everett R. Smith, and by one brother Harold. The family received friends at the Whitney-Ribey Funeral Home in Seaforth and a funeral service was held there on Monday. Spring interment Egmondville Cemetery. LESLIE SCOTT Leslie Scott of Oaklawn, Illinois, and formerly of Seaforth, died at an Oaklawn hospital on Janaury 15, 1990, after a lengthy illness. He was 93. He is survived by his wife of 73 years, the former Kathleen McMann; a son William and his wife Rhoda; and a daughter Betty Moore and her husband Robert of Laguna Hillis, California. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Glen, Larry, Kathy and Janet, and six great granddaughters. Mr. Scott was predeceased by one great grandson.
