Easy Riders trample short-handed Rustlers 12-0
MEN'S BROOMBALL
EASY RIDERS 12 - RED RUSTLERS 0
Joe Doresers scored a double hat trick
with Steve Eckert assisting on every goal.
Ed Van Miltenburg contributed with a
single hat trick with great back-up from
Randy Wilson. Rick Fowler also added two
more goals to the scoredboard, with help
from Terry Morey. Look out, this fellow is
on the move: mighty Rob MacGregor
shoots and scores with extra help coming
from Jeff Allen and Jim Hutson. The
Rustlers had a total of six attackers, so
their energy was down to nil into the se-
cond half of the game.
ROYALS 0 - DUMPERS 4
Brett Finlayson showed great class as he
tipped in two goals, thanks to Bill Dale for
his help. Sneaking through defenceman,
Frank Verberne drove a shot right into the
net. Tony Arts conned the opposing goalie
to step aside as he slapped the ball into
the net, after a great pass by John
Deveraux. The Royals' goalie played a fan-
tastic game, stopping shot after shot, but
the players could not scramble up any
goals in the other end!
KNIGHTS 6 = RAIDERS 1
The Knights only had one line and the
same fellows divided up the goal scoring.
All goals and assists were by Steve Eckert,
Jim Nyenhuis and Mark Lowagie. The
Raiders finally snuck in a point as Jack
Holmes popped in a neat goal, with
assistance from Jeff Campbell.
WINTHROP 1 - PARR LINE 0
A single goal by Dan McNichol brought
the•:Ctirlstnias spirit. into Winthrop, Brice
1'ea c,n.;assisting. Parr Line also had only
one.lhie and an awesome goalie as Dennis
Dolanage played superbly in net, making
save after save.
LADIES BROOMBALL
PERTH 0 - QUEENS 2

she popped in two choice goals with help
from Shelley Lansink, Calana McClure and
Marg Henderson. Perth Ladies had
numerous chances but nothing was
achieved.
' COMMERCIAL 4 - JR. FARMERS 0
Linda Boyd aimed the ball into the net,
a great goal and a fine pass by Joan
Flanagan. Mighty Tammy Nash dove into
the air and slapped the ball into the net on
a great pass by Barb Flanagan. Donna
Preszcator snuck through and scored a
sharp goal, helped out by partner Susan
Hulley. Out of the woodwork came Audrey
Shenck and drove the ball straight into the
net on a pass from Lori Sherbeth. Poor Jr.
Farmers, their Christmas spirit was still
on cloud nine.
PARR LINE 3 - WINTHROP 0
Sandi Fremlin backhanded the ball into
the net, a good pass by Sueanne Van
Miltenburg. Another goal . was scored by
Donna Preszcator and her partner Susan
Hulley. Fierce shooting by Bev Shea sent
the ball travelling to the top corner of the
net, with great backup by Sandra Faber.
The Winthrop Ladiet had chance after
chance but got robbed every time, thanks
to great goaltending by Sherry Harburn.
