A popular station at the Bruce Garden Harvest Dinner on
September 17, 2015, was the beverage counter where attendees
could sample local craft beer from MacLean's Ales Inc. as well as
fine wines and ciders from Hoity Toity Cellars.
Chair of Bruce Botanical Food Gardens Nan Grant welcomes
everyone to the Harvest Dinner on September 17, 2015 and
delivers a thank you to all volunteers, supporters, chefs and
attendees during her speech.

2015. There was also a live auction as part of the fundraiser for
the Bruce Botanical Food Garden.

Ron Taylor of Belgrave is
also back for a second year.
"This is a wonderful idea the
concept of eating fresh local
produce is to be applauded.
This event is a good show-
case and obviously there a
good cooks." Taylor believes
the Harvest Dinner is an
ideal way to showcase the
area produce, meats, cheese
and other products.
Ron Hewitt of Kincardine
agrees. "The food is abso-
lutely delicious. This is a
great way to promote the
produce from the garden
along with the local food,
beer and wine."
Doug Eadie, originally
from Holyrood, is "really
impressed with Morrison's
pizza oven. It is really good.
They are usually only seen in
cities."
Cathy Farrell of Ripley has
been looking forward to the
Harvest Dinner since last
year. She would like to recog-
nize Lynne at BBFG for all

Historical
Sexual Assault
Charges Laid
(HURON COUNTY, ON) — Mem-
bers of the Huron County
Ontario Provincial Police
(OPP) Criminal Investigations
Unit have laid historical sex-
ual assault charges against
a North Huron resident.
The charges date back
to events that occurred
near the Town of Wing -
ham between the summers
of 1976 and 1978. When
these offences were commit-
ted the accused was volun-

proud to support BBFG.
Anne Grant from the
Teeswater area commented
that the Harvest Dinner
menu "tastes like big city
food in Huron -Kinloss.
There is nothing small-town
about it."
Lisa Thompson is pleased
to see the best of the best of
the area at the Harvest
the Wingham Scout Troop.
The victims, two young teen-
aged boys had met the accused
through Scouting activities.
Police have charged 71- year-
old Martin CRETIER from North
Huron with four counts of Inde-
cent Assault contrary to Section
156 of the 1977 Criminal Code
and four counts of Act of Gross
Indecency contrary to Section
157 of the 1977 Criminal Code.
The accused was arrested
on September 16, 2015. He
has been released from cus-
tody with a court appear-
ance scheduled for Octo-
ber 15, 2015 at the Ontario
Court of Justice —Wingham.
