FITNESS INSTRUCTORS AND CHILDREN'S PROGRAM STAFF
Fitness Instructors: the ideal candidate will have experience teaching a variety of fitness
classes or be willing to learn how to teach a variety of fitness classes, will hold a fitness
certification such as Can Fit Pro or be willing to achieve a fitness certification within the
first year of employment; is reliable and committed to their fitness classes; is a team
player, passionate about the fitness industry and willing to work hard to promote the
Township of Huron -Kinloss fitness programs. Fitness instructors will be required to teach
at least one fitness class/week every session, classes will be offered in the mornings
and evenings from Oct -June. Fitness instructor pay is $35/class, contracts will begin in
September and end in June, with the possibility of renewal in September 2016.
Children's Program Staff: the ideal candidate will have experience working with children
primarily age 1-10; they will have experience dealing with children in a recreation setting;
early childhood education courses are an asset; will be a team player, reliable and
passionate about bringing meaningful recreation opportunities to the Township of Huron -
Kinloss. Children's program staff will be given detailed program plans for each week of each
session including what equipment to use and how to set it up for the main circuit, and warm
up and cool down activities. The children's program will be offered in the mornings and
evenings at the same time as our adult fitness classes. Pay for Children's program staff is
$20/class, contracts will begin at the end of September and end in June with the possibility
of renewal in September 2016. Candidates must be available to attend a Fundamental
Movement Skills Workshop (Free) in Hanover on Sunday September 20th 2015.

FALL HYDRANT FLUSHING
The hydrants in Ripley Water System will be flushed the week of
September 14th.
The hydrants in Lucknow Water System will be flushed the week of
September 21st.
The hydrants in Lakeshore Area Water System will be flushed over a
period of three to four weeks starting Monday September 28th.
During this time you may experience changes in pressure and/or
discoloration of water. Residents are encouraged to remove all faucet
screens and filters and thoroughly flush their water systems.

PUBLIC NOTICE OF INTENTION TO PASS A PROCEDURAL BY-LAW
TAKE NOTICE THAT pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Act, 2001,
Section 238 (2) every municipality and local board shall pass a procedural by-law
for governing the calling, place and proceedings of meetings,
AND TAKE FURTHER NOTICE THAT pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal
Act, 2001, Section 238 (2.1) the procedural by-law shall provide for public notice
of meetings.
AND TAKE FURTHER NOTICE THAT it is the intention of the Council of the Township
of Huron -Kinloss to pass an updated procedural by-law at the September 21st, 2015

Township of Huron -Kinloss website www.huronkinloss.com
Those persons wishing to attend as a delegation to address the Council or wishing
to submit written comments on the intended by-law shall signify their intention

NOTICE OF PESTICIDE USE
The Township of Huron -Kinloss intends to control Invasive Species Phragmites Australis
along the Lakeshore on municipally managed land in the Township of Huron -Kinloss, using
the pesticide known as Vision Max Registration #27736 or Weathermax Registration
#27487 under the Pest Control Products Act (Canada). The application method will be
spraying directly onto the Phragmites Australis.
Commencing on September 14th, 2015 until November 1st, 2015 weather permitting.
