Alex, Jean and family. .+II�t ops Ir. fiikr]7kti�.t-f!.s , rr HUNTER, Robert (Bob) Vernon - Our hearts are filled with sadness, love and beautiful memories as we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Vernon Hunter in Vancouver on August 27th after a courageous battle with cancer. Bob was born in Lucknow, Ontario. He was a creative visionary and a natural-born entrepreneur. He had a keen eye and a passion for architecture and interior design. From scratch, he built a successful career in construction and real estate development residing in the USA, Saudi Arabia and England before returning to Canada in the early 1980s. Oakville was his home for many years. In 2002, he retired/relocated to Vancouver with his wife and youngest daughter. He was an avid tennis player, golfer, skier and sailor. He is fondly remembered by his beloved wife, Karleen Nevery, three daughters: Lisa (Javier), Charlotte (Rathan) and Taylor (Dylan), three grandchildren: Vera, Ambar and Kiran: sister Joanne (Forbes), brother Murray (Patricia) and sister-in-law Sandy. Predeceased by parents Vernon Hunter and Anna May Treleaven and brother Gregory. The funeral service will be held at the Oakview Funeral Home, Oakville ON at 1:00 pm on Thursday September 10, 2015.
