A Marriage Commissioner is a Clerk Designate appointed to solemnize the marriage of two people in Ontario in a civil wedding ceremony. They conduct marriages in a secular manner with no reference to religion. The successful applicant will be • comfortable speaking in public; • willing to invest many Saturdays, during June, July, August and September, as well as other times, including meeting with couples to plan the ceremony and for a rehearsal; • flexible regarding time and place of ceremony, within reason; • knowledgeable of the Marriage Act. Public Works Operator The Township of Huron -Kinloss is seeking a qualified person for the position of Public Works Operator. This position is 40 hours per week and the successful applicant will assist in the operation of all Public Works services.
