The goal of VON's SMART (Seniors
Maintaining Active Roles Together)®
Exercise and Falls Prevention program is to
enable adults 55+ to maintain independence,
improve quality of life and to ultimately
promote healthy aging.
This functional exercise program can be
found in various communities throughout
Grey- Bruce. Classes are led by volunteers
who the VON has educated, trained and
certified as SMART exercise instructors.
There is a FREE 2 -day training program for
anyone and everyone who is interested in
volunteering - you don't even need to have a
fitness background to lead classes!

The family of the late Lillian Irvin would like
to thank everyone for the love and support
shown to us during the loss of our loved
mother, grandmother and great grandmoth-
er. Thank you to the Drs. and nurses at
Wingham Hospital as well as her Home
Care for all the kindness given to mom. We
would like to thank the staff and residents
from Sepoy Manor for making Lillian's short
time there so special. Special thanks to
MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home staff
for their compassion, to our minister Brian
Hymers for his special words of comfort at
the funeral and special music by Trinity
Choir. Thank you to the ladies for the meal
between visits at the house and Lucknow
UCW ladies for the luncheon following the
service. Your thoughtfulness will be cher-
ished.

Van OSCH, Betty - Beloved wife of the
late Peter Van Osch, passed away at
Alexandra Marine & General Hospital,
Goderich, on Sunday October 25, 2015 at
age 78. She was born in Walkerton on April
7, 1937 to the late Alex & Regina Becker.
Dear Mother of David of Chatham, Brian
(Helen) of Ashfield, Morris (Janice) of
Ashfield, Donna (Mark) McBride of Ripley,
Jackie (Murray) Scott of Ripley, Jim
(Tracey) of Ashfield, Diane (Neil) McCahill
of Bright's Grove, Stephen of Ashfield,
Colleen (Chris) Michie of Belgrave and
Sharon (Rob) Shiell of Atwood. Also greatly
missed by 22 grandchildren, 2 great-
grandchildren and sister Helen Schmidt of
Mildmay. Predeceased by sisters Gertie
Millen, Rose Benninger, Joan Goetz, Marie
Thompson, Della Schaeffer and Kay
Schneider and brother Magnus Becker.
Visitation was held at the Kingsbridge
Centre on Wednesday, October 28, 2015
from 2-4 & 6-9 PM. A Funeral Mass was
celebrated from the Sacred Heart Church,
Wingham on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at
11 AM with Father K. Morrison officiating.
Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery,
Kingsbridge. Donations to the St. Joseph's

passed away at Wingham Hospital on
Thursday October 22, 2015 at age 82. She
was born in Ashfield Township on April 29,
1933 to the late Clara (Ritchie) and Nelson
Raynard. Dear Mother of William (Shirley)
and Murray (Elizabeth) all of Lucknow, Dale
(Wendy) of Kitchener, Susan (Harvey)
Handsor of Wallaceburg and Alex (Paula)
of Goderich. Also greatly missed by
grandchildren; Shelley (Darcy), Heather
(Taylor), Garrett, Casey (Emily), Lynn,
Angela (Travis), Karen (Dwayne),
Cassandra, Kendall, Mary (Max), Paige and
Ryan, and 9 great-grandchildren. Survived
by siblings Ruth Shropshall of Clinton,
Doug (MaryLou) Raynard of Listowel, Bruce
(Norma) Raynard of Lucknow and Chris
Raynard of Goderich. Predeceased by son
Jerry, granddaughter Lindsay (Mike) Sillib
