org Military Website! View military

discover more about Bruce Coun-
ty's military heritage.
The Bruce Remembers website is a
memorial site that includes names of
individuals with a connection to
Bruce County who served in a mili-
tary capacity during both war time
and peace time. Images of items
from the Bruce County Museum &
Cultural Centre's Collection enhance
the profiles of individuals on the
website while the Local Heroes sec-
tion includes individuals about
whom a large amount of material is
available within the Collection. "This
collection of information has been a
labour of love for many staff and vol-
unteers," says Archivist Ann -Marie
Collins. "We are grateful to the many
people who have contributed to the
military in many different ways over
the years and this website is designed
to honour them."
The website will continue to be
updated. It is important to keep this
site current so if an individual has
been missed or you have informa-
tion that would enhance the site,
please contact the BCM&CC
at archives@brucecounty.on.ca. All
information is appreciated!
The Bruce County Public Library
created the original website and
assisted the BCM&CC with its rede-
velopment. BCM&CC would like to
thank the Bruce County Branches of
the Royal Canadian Legion who
have worked with the Museum over
the years and extend a special
thanks to the Bruce County Histori-
cal Society and BCM&CC staff and
volunteers who have all contributed
in making the website a reality.
