ACW Deputy Clerk Linda Andrew retires Valerie Gillies Lucknow Sentinel Linda Andrew is retiring after 13 years as Clerk of Ashfield Township followed by 15 years as Deputy Clerk of Ashfield-Colborne- Wawanosh Township (ACW) after amalgamation. ACW Reeve Ben VanDie- penbeek stated that it has been a great pleasure to have worked with Andrew for over 23 years. "She has always been very efficient, diligent and I could always count on her." He then turned to Andrew and says, "I will be sad to see you go." Andrew related that she, "enjoyed working with a lot of very helpful staff. They are knowledgeable, supportive and it has been a team effort ■police Aef ((csiriusx1114 Available in most new Ford vehicles with 6 -month pre -paid subscription METHAMPHETAMINE (GODERICH, ON) - Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charged a 23 -year-old driver last week after he was spotted by an officer driving his un -plated All -Terrain Vehicle (ATV) in the Town of Goderich. At approximately 2:25 am on July 9, 2015 a Huron OPP officer stopped the ATV on Maitland Road South near Oxford Street. The officer checked the driver's licence status of the driver and it was determined he was driving with a suspended driver's licence. Further checks revealed the ATV was over the years." "We are definitely going to miss her, especially her knowl- edge, but I am happy for her:' Linda Andrew is looking forward to more time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will also have more time for her friends and to travel. On looking back over her career Andrew said, "I would like to thank my colleagues and the councils for their support and for making my time with the Township enjoyable:' not insured. Furthermore, the operation of ATV's in the Town of Goderich is not allowed. The driver was placed under arrest and a search incident to arrest revealed the driver to be in possession of methamphetamine. As a result, Tyler DURST, 23 years of age from Ashfield-Colborne- Wawanosh has been charged with Possession of a Schedule I Substance — Methamphetamine, Drive Off -Road Vehicle — No Insurance, Drive Off -Road Vehicle — No Number Plate and Drive While Under Suspension. He has been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for the Ontario Court of Justice — Goderich on August 24, 2015.
