Annual Lucknow antique tractor
parade
There were 35 tractors and 2 antique trucks in the antique
tractor parade through Lucknow on August 15, 2015.
The drivers of the antique tractors and trucks ended the parade on August 15, 2015 at Mary's
Restaurant, Lucknow for breakfast. The sign held indicates that the vehicles in the parade were
from the 1950's or older.
The antique tractor parade
formed outside of the village
on August 15, 2015. Here
they travel down Belgrave
Road on their way to stops
at the 3 local long -term -
care centres in Lucknow.
Several residents from Nine
Mile Villa, Pinecrest Manor
and Sepoy Manor gathered
outside of their residence to
enjoy the parade.

Each year the Bruce
County Library loses not
only books and DVDs, it
also loses members who
want to avoid overdue
fines. We'd like to start
again!
To remove at least one of
the barriers to returning an
overdue item, Bruce County
Public Library members are
encouraged to return their
overdue library materials
without penalty or fine dur-

asked and no fines will be

Overdue materials can be
returned without charge to
any of the 17 branches in
the Bruce County Public
Library system during the
amnesty period. Library
materials must be returned
to library staff at a service
desk. Fines will not be
waived if overdue items are
returned through the book
drop. The amnesty doesn't
cover lost items, but those
who have lost library mate-
rials should come in and
talk to library staff.
"Once a patron's account
exceeds $10 (in fines), their
library card is blocked.
Sometimes people stop
using the library because
they have accumulated
overdue fines. We hope this
amnesty week will encour-
age people to start again
with the library" said
Melissa Legacy, Library
Director.
