Meet the NWMO and Learn More About Canada's Plan for the
Long -Term Care of Used Nuclear Fuel
The Township of Huron -Kinloss is learning more about Canada's plan for the safe,
long-term management of used nuclear fuel and the next step in the site selection
process now underway: Phase 2 Preliminary Assessment Studies.
Drop by the Point Clark open house, meet NWMO staff, learn about the project and
share your thoughts. Ask questions about the next phase of work, including
geotechnical studies.
The NWMO will also display an exhibit that provides a hands-on opportunity to learn
more about plans for the safe and secure transportation of Canada's used nuclear fuel.
Light refreshments will be provided. We look forward to meeting you.
