Queensway reslideelle have
benefitted from several special
programs this past two weeps.
Residents welcomed Gail and
Larry Maros wtth 'lieu Fellowship
Singers on October 17. Theu gospel
music was utspuing and everyone
enjoyed hewing clic many stringed
Instruments played.

puny. The dancing and costumes
were great and u was especially fun
watching the little ones doing their
besi The parents and teacher Sher-
ry McCall deserve a lot of credit
for their dedication also. Birthday
greetings to Roland Grenier, Stuart
McEwen, Gerald Heffon, Erna
Schroeder, Myrtle Rodd and Laving
Watson.
Visitors from Maplewood Manor,
Seaforth and Bluewater Rest Home,
Zurich, family and friends joined
residents October 27 for the emu,.
pang and dance, with the "Gods ict.
No Notes Jug Band". Everyone had
a wonderful time, lopped off by hot
mulled apple cider, frozen peach
yogurt and pumpkin cookies made
by the faking Club. Residents
would like to express appreciation
to the many wonderful people that
entertain them and help serve at
special programs.
Reverend Stojokovic led the wor-
ship service on October 16 with
Miss Hayter as pianist. Reverend
Rogers led the service Octoba 23
with special music by Kevin
Rogers.
Coming events are: November 9
at 2:30 p.m. International Day on
"Yugoslavia", November 13 at 8:30
p.m. the Harmony Kings chorus;
and November 14 from 2 to 4 p.m.
Craft and Bake Sale.
Local lawnbowling club
holds October social
The Seaforth Lawn Bowling Club
members and Associates held their
October Social at the Orange Hall
on October 23 with 36 members
present.
There were no tables of bridge
this evening as some of the bridge
players were out of town.
But euchre prizes went to the
following: Ladies High - Edith
McMillan; Ladies Lone Hands,
Dorothy McCluskie; Consolation,
Jean Simpson; Mens high, Bob
McMillan; Mens lone hands, Grace
Broadfoot (played as a man); and
Mens Consolation, Isabelle Hunt
(played as a man).
Jean Pinder chaired the evening
a.ld reminded Associate members
fees are now due. Five new decks
of cards had been purchased. Happy
