Queensway travels to In keeping with most Sundays Steckle and Jessie Archer for this summer it poured rain on Sun- day the 19th when we travelled to Clinton raceway, but we didn't let the rain dampen our enthusiasm as we cheered on our favourite horses. Residents had a great time as they renewed old acquaintances and presented a Queenways sweatshirt to the winning driver of the third race. Reverend Vipperman led our worship service Tuesday afternoon and accompanied our singing with his guitar. Wednesday, we had an excellent turnout fro our information day about Goderich. We thank Marj loaning us their Huron County Atlas's to peruse and also Mark Consist for his two large salt samples and information from the salt mines. We were amazed to find all of the places of interest in Goderich, and it was fun to dis- cover some of the history including how Goderich came by it's name. Friday, volunteers and residents gathered in the dining room for one of our favourite summer activities, building -your -own ice cream sun- dae. You wouldn't believe some of the combinations!
