CITIZENSHIP AWARD — The Murray Cardiff Citizenehlp Award Is presented to the 4-H

Interviewed. At the county's recent awards night, Lana Jones of Clinton was announced as
the winner. Lana has been Involved In Etiquette for the '80s, dairy, sheep, veterinary, Milk
Makes It, and leader's assistant projects. She has held all club executive offices and was
involved In the Kentucky exchange and the 4-H regional conference. In the community she is
a church youth group member, a nursery helper, a camp counsellor, a messenger leader, a

Brussels stockyard trades on demand
The market at Brussels Stockyards traded
on a mixed demand with choice cattle selling
actively and the medium or heavy tagged
kind barely steady. Pigs sold higher. There
were 1242 cattle and 663 pigs on offer.
Choice Steers - 88.00 to 93.00 with a sale to
97.50.
Good Steers - 84.00 to 88.00.
Nine steers consigned by Karel Michiels of
RR 1, Sebringville averaging 1256 lbs. sold
for 93.10 with his offering of 32 steers
averaging 1244 lbs. selling for an overall
price of 90,56 with a sale at 97.50.

Quebec disrupted harvesting of many salad

Chicken prices showed a small decrease in
October but are expected to drop further as
supplies increase. Turkey prices dropped 6.8
per cent following Thanksgiving promotions,
but are expected to rebound.
Beef prices were unchanged from Septem-
ber. while a steep decline in apple prices
caused fresh fruit prices to dip slightly.

which they hope will be used by the town's
young people. It may just finance a number of
weekend activities or one big winter retreat.

Whether you work in an office, a mine, a factory, or a shop, you could be
exposed to hazardous biological or chemical agents without ever knowing it.
On November 6, a new regulation was made by the Ontario Ctovemment
which will come into effect December 6,1986- This new regulation provides
greater protection to everyone in the workplace in two different ways. First, it
sets out specific legal limits on exposures to more than 600 different toxic
agents. And second, it requires exposures to toxic agents in the workplace to
be reduced by engineering controls, such as improved ventilation, rather than
by the use of respirators.

limits placed on them, visit the Ontario Ministry of Labour Office nearest you.
