The Seaforth lady bowlers held the
Whitney trophy tournament Thursday with
10 greens in play.
Bowlers came from Mitchell, Clinton,
Lucknow, Atwood and Sarnia.
The winners were Isabel Rogerson and
Anna Ballantyne of Exeter, Second were
Marg Robinson and partner of Mitchell.
Third, Mary Higgins and partner of Mitchell
and fourth, Betty Tilley and Dianne Gilliland
of Seaforth.
On Monday night the winners of the men's
pairs tournament was Glen Keene of
Stratford. Second was Don Glendenning,
Ingersol and third, Don Robertson of
Goderich. Fourth was Fred Tilley and partner
of Seaforth.,
Saturday, July 26 Art and Mary Finlayson
were second placeand inne�Anain Clinton,

seventh.
At St. Marys Art and Mary Finlayson were
fifth place winners.
The St. Mary's team of Len Boreham and
Betty Johnson won the seniors provincial
playdowns for district four. The games were

The third annual Couples' Tournament
was held August 2 with 37 couples
participating.
Judy and Charlie Hunter from Kincardine
were the tournament winners with a low —
gross total of 168. Stratford's Stan and Mary
W endland were the low net winners with a
combined net total of 132.
