"The door is going to have to be replaced
again soon anyway. By last year's budget this
is just a carry over project. It should be left in
the budget. 'think it's a good idea and I think
we should be behind the oomnrittee because
we are talking about taking on the Main
Street Canada project. If council isn't behind
the Idea of Improving the look of the main
street, then 1 don't understand how we can
apply for the project, and also. expect the
other businesses to be in agreement with it,"
added Coundllor Bob Dinsmore.
Despite the varying opinions of council it
did agree to have Nick Hill update his original
architectural plans and make the changes
suggested by the Ministry of Citizenship and
Culture. Then whenever the town decides to
go ahead with the project the plans will be
ready to use.
