GRANT APPROVED Council approved a motion by Florence McPhail that the Township of Hibbert grant the Salvation Army $125 for 1986. . DRAINAGE SUPERINTENDENT Bill Dietrich of Kelley Associates attended last week's council meeting and discussed the duties and advantages of hiring a drain superintendent for the township. The township presently has a drainage commissioner in accordance with their drainage bylaw. Hiring a drainage superin- tendent, however, would allow the township to take advantage of a grant subsidy which would allow them to do some drainage work for one-third less cost. }Illy per cent of the Superintendent's fees would be subsidized. Clerk Friend said the move could be beneficial to the township's ratepayers. Council has made no decision on the proposal. St. Peter's parents due to the very stormy weather was experienced.
