Lanes on December 17: Monaco ,was ahead

Don Bruxer had high single of 287 and
Jerry Fuhr a 581 triple to lead the wianers.
Claudette Elliott ''was high .bowler for
Canada with a ;249 single and 591 triple.
The Gypsies nipped league leading USA
4-3 even though they were behind 2461,- 2377
in pinfail. Wilha Vandenberk led the Gyp-
sies with a high game of 239 and 677 triple.
Harry Deloyer was high for USA with 215
and 579 in scores.
In another very close match -up Japan
edged Cuba 4-3 even though Cuba had a 2448
- 2438 pintail advantage.
Weekly Highs were Don Bruxer with a 287
single and Wilha Vandenberk had a 677
triple.
Team Standings are: USA 57, Canada

games of season
by close margins
The Seaforth Atom Is losttheir first two
games of the season by close scores. They
were defeated 5-3 by the Stratford Major AA
team and 3-2 by the Woolwich Major A
team.
The defeats could have been victories for
the Atom I with good positional play.
Scoring for Seaforth against Stratford
were Boyd Devereaux, Jeff Flanagan and
Joe Murray. Assists went ..to Wayne
